What Is a Resin Bound Surface?
Resin-bound surfacing combines natural stone chippings (aggregates) in a forced action mixer with a UV-stable, translucent, water-based polyurethane resin. The process creates a mixture filled with micro-voids, making the service permeable.
The mixture can be applied to virtually any surface and, once raked and trowelled, is entirely smooth and porous. Because of the aggregates, each surface boasts a wonderful colour; we can mix and match up to four aggregates for a truly unique appearance.
